OnCore Golf Welcomes PGA of Canada Teacher of the Year, Jason Helman, to National Staff.
Buffalo, NY (April 20, 2018) – OnCore Golf is thrilled to announce the signing of Top Ranked Canadian Golf Instructor, Jason Helman, to its National Staff Program.
Helman, who brings over 25 years of professional coaching experience, has joined the growing list of golf professionals to join OnCore’s Teaching Advisory Staff. He is a two-time PGA of Canada National Award winner and was proudly named the National Teacher of the Year in 2010 by the PGA of Canada. Additionally, Helman is ranked as a top-5 teacher in Canada per Golf Digest Magazine. As an international speaker, Jason has spoken to numerous chapters of the PGA of America and has presented on behalf of the PGA of Australia. Conducting his own coaching workshops each year, Jason furthers the education of his fellow golf professionals in the realms of coaching and instruction best practices.
Jason is based out of the Wyndance Golf Club, in now his 11th year at the club, which is located in Uxbridge, Ontario just north of Toronto. As part of Jason’s duties as a newly minted OnCore staff member, he will serve as an OnCore Golf brand ambassador for the growing Canadian golf marketplace. He will also work with his stable of professional golfers who play on the Mackenzie, Symetra and LPGA Tours while working with the OnCore Golf tour professionals currently playing the ELIXR.
Director of Player Development, Brian McGahey, is excited to add another prominent figure to OnCore’s fold of teaching and playing professionals. McGahey said, “Jason is highly regarded throughout the golfing world. OnCore Golf is very excited and fortunate to have a renowned industry veteran with the credentials that Jason has earned on our professional staff.”
Expressing his excitement to join Team OnCore, Helman made the following statements, “I was introduced to the ELIXR tour ball by one of OnCore Golf’s ambassadors who plays on the Symetra tour. I just started coaching her and she let me try the ball out. I could not believe how exceptional the ELIXR performed; the ball is soft around the greens but also performs extremely well on full shots.
