A few of us Team OnCore members had the privilege of attending the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black and the Senior PGA Championship at Oak Hill. Wow, how lucky is NY (and us) to have both those courses holding major championships in the span of weeks from one another- just plain awesome!
The energy at Bethpage was insane with Tiger coming off his Master’s win and the crowds were rooting for him even though he could never get it together. Brooks Koepka put on a show, besting Tiger by 17 strokes after two days of play and went on to win the The Wanamaker Trophy in style, hats off to you Brooks!
The Senior PGA Championship at Oak Hill was also fun to attend and not too far down Interstate 90 for us in Buffalo. The community around the course is magical and the homes are stunning! We were there on Wednesday for the practice round and enjoyed seeing the players carve and shape their shots around lumbering, ominous Oak Trees.
