We had a blast exhibiting at the 2016 Waste Management Open. This was our first year at the tournament and it certainly lived up to its name “The Greatest Party on Grass”. The fans were lined up before the gates even opened at 7am and were ready to run straight through the exhibit hall to make sure they had a seat at hole #16. You have to admire the hustle, especially considering they would be sitting there for several hours until the first group came through the hole.
Sunday’s crowd of 65,330 people pushed the total to a record 618,365 people, shattering the previous mark of 564,368 set last year.
The event broke its own record Saturday at 201,003 after drawing a Friday-record 160,415.
Hideki Matsuyama defeated Rickie Fowler in a four-hole playoff to win the tournament. Every golfer not on site was similarly faced with the dilemma, watch the Super Bowl or the incredible playoff and battle that transpired…? Golf > Football
Enjoy the great photos and it was a pleasure meeting all you sun devils!
