Great ball, durable, straight and long!

Love Elixr, not so much the Vero

LOVE the Elixr, so decided to try the Vero X1. Feels much harder than Elixr (despite the same compression), has a lower flight, and is less forgiving. On PERFECT strikes, it was 5-10 yards longer than Elixr off the driver, but even a slight mishit cost a LOT of yardage.

Probably a good ball for better players (I'm a 5.8 handicap), but not a good ball for me. If Elixr's ever get back in stock, I'll go back. Otherwise, I'll play the Maxfli Tour.

Very Impressed

Golf is expensive enough, so looking where to save money without compromising can be challenging. While struggling to find performance and value had tried many TDC and warehouse golf balls, but felt giving up too much performance. Fellow golf buddy suggested OnCore and after doing their online fitting I ordered VeroX1. No compromise here. Length, control, and feel were perfect. In our golf group yesterday three out of four were playing OnCore (Two Elixer and my VERO X1). We love them and love their value. Veterans are taken care of by this company also.

30 Yards

When thinking about your drives, would 30 yards make a difference? That's exactly what I'm getting with Vero x1 over my previous favorite ball. Then when I hit into the green, it's pop, hop and stop. Fantastic ball!
